Allyson,

The one-sidedness of the symptoms really is perplexing. The article below explores some unusual treatments... ironically, right after it came out a mother presented to our clinic with chronic pain that seemed to be reactionary. We tried Claritin, and her condition improved.  I know your client has itching, but something here still might resonate.
