I just jolted awake from the most horrible dream.

I was pregnant and I gave birth to 3 babies. The ped said they were twins and a singleton.

We brought them home and we had a house like the Weasleys in ‘Harry Potter’ as well as our actual 5 kids.

I was looking out the kitchen window and saw a massive, whirling black tornado picking its way across the landscape directly toward our house. It looked like an enormous lady in a long black hoop skirted dress, carefully lifting and tilting the hem of her skirts as she picked her swaying way daintily and resolutely toward us.

We began frantically rounding the kids and pets up and throwing them into a pickup truck. I was already planning to put the older ones in the back so I could have most of the bench seat to nurse all the babies and toddlers to keep them calm as we fled.

I yelled directions at older kids to grab younger ones and realized I had put the new babies in different locations. One was in a shoe box under my bed, sleeping peacefully. One was snug as a bug in a rug in a bucket under the sink. One was dozing contededly in a dresser drawer. Then I remembered I had somehow acquired not 3 newborns, but 5. I had to search for them frantically as our whirling doom advanced ever closer.

Now you know. True nightmares of a baby hoarder and former triandem nurser.

When I can get my hands on them. :-)
