Hi there
I was hoping someone had some research articles tucked away that they could share. I am looking for research on:
1) Risks of decreased maternal infant bonding if not breastfeeding (this would be with either formula feeding or breastmilk feeding, and includes research on if bottle feeding mothers are more distracted from feeding than breastfeeding mothers)
and
2) The risks of decreased milk supply with formula supplementation (not the risks of decreased exclusivity and duration of breastfeeding, or perceived decreased supply, but of actual decreased milk supply)
I need actual studies, not textbooks or in the field knowledge. Ideally references need to be within the last 10 years, but at this stage, I will look at anything anyone has.
Any help would be appreciated and feel free to contact me off list if needed,
Many thanks,
Sonya
