Dear Lactnet Friends:

My first thought was hyperbaric oxygen. . . but if you look at the
organisms growing in her wound, one is aerobic (Pseudomonas) and they all
have the ability to switch back and forth between aerobic and anaerobic
functions. So increasing the oxygen pressure on them would just drive them
into a different mode.

Anyone out there know more?

Can't hurt to suggest this either. . .for a more skilled evaluation.
