The 75 mg dose cited in by IM injection once a month. Therefore, the haloperidol is released in small daily doses over the month period.
Therefore, the daily dose of haloperidol should be equal to or lower than the doses listed by Tom Hale.
This IM dose should result in limited concentrations of the drug in breast milk.
With moms who are breastfeeding and need this type of drug, every effort should be used to maintain breastfeeding while taking the drug.
Monitor the baby for any possible side effects mentioned by Tom Hale.
