Coincidentally, someone on Lactnet was asking about nipple pain, and an email with this article was the next email I read.

Caring for new mothers: diagnosis, management andtreatment of nipple dermatitis in breastfeeding mothers
Misha M. Heller, BA, Honor Fullerton-Stone, MD, andJenny E. Murase, MD
http://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1111/j.1365-4632.2011.05445.x/abstract

The first sentence reads, "Breastfeeding is thought to be the most optimal form of infant nutrition."  THOUGHT to be???  How about KNOWN to be!!!
Julie Tardos
===="I asked a librarian if she had a book on Pavlov's dog and Schroedinger's cat. She said it 'rang a bell, but she was not sure if it was there or not.'"
