I need advice from NICU LC's. I have a mom who is in ICU, sedated, intubated and with poor kidney function following eclampsia and delivery at 28 weeks. Baby is doing well in NICU and receiving donor milk. Pumping has been initiated for mom. How often and how long should pumping be? Is her colostrum safe to use, given the drugs she is receiving? Any other advice is so welcome as I have no NICU experience.
