 Read key chapter on Lead & Breastfeeding.  The part that disappointed me was the premise tst BFing can be turned off and on like a spigot :-(  Sounds like lead should be part of prenatal blood testing, to give some time to correct if needed, before breastfeeding begins.    Without knowing it  you can be exposed to lead in many places.  We had a preschool in Atlantic City area that the owner pushed down after some of the children began to turn up with leads in the 40's.  Old building, old paint :-(  Pat in SNJ
