Hello,

I joined Lactnet 19-20 years ago when I accredited as a LLLL.
Maybe those of us who grew up with it find it easier. :) I think the FB group is indicative of the age we live in, our use of technology and wanting/needing an immediate answer to everything. I have no issues searching the archives either, which I love. I find it to be a treasure trove, especially since we have lost some of the best due to retirement, no time, or sadly, death.

I have manly lurked for the past years and use the archives as needed. When I have a question, I usually remember the discussion here even years back. I still enjoy reading the emails that come in, especially as not everyone is on the FB group.

I feel that the The List Serv and archives are a wealth of information coming from the best in the field.

I am on the Lactnet FB page and administer another breastfeeding group page. I find that FB, at times, can be filled with drama, even on forums, and find myself pulling back , more and more from it. Maybe because it is so immediate. With email, you have time to think and reword. Let it sit and then go back. Guess I am just getting old. :)

Just my .02.
