Subject: Breastfeeding advocacy - position papers

Hello all,

At the British Columbia Lactation Consultant Association we have have created two documents that we hope may make change in our province.

The first is a proposal for a Provincial Breastfeeding Lead position.

http://www.ilca.org/files/CLCA/PDF/Provincial%20Chapters/BCLCA/Policy%20paper%20Increasing%20the%20rates%20of%20exclusive%20breastfeeding%20to%20six%20months.pdf

The second makes a case for collaborative effort to create a decision support tool for families who want to sleep with their infant.

We wanted to share these documents with other like-minded advocates to share stories and support in similar efforts and to give ideas to those who might want to plan something similar in their region.

Wish us luck!

Warmly,

tina
