Someone can correct me if I'm wrong but I thought the only reason to scald
the milk to stop the lipase activity was if the milk was if the baby was
refusing to drink it?  If the baby isn't rejecting the milk there really
isn't a problem.  It really doesn't affect the milk too much and if the baby
is nursing when mom is home anything missing from the pumped milk having
that much lipase will be 'made up' when baby is nursing directly.

 

Hope that helps a bit, but I would love to hear if I'm not remembering the
lipase issue correctly.
