Re: Sharlene Mracek's inquiry about a new offering of prenatal breastfeeding classes and attendance:

- prenatal bfing classes are free and well-attended at the hospital where I'm currently employed, offered once a month

- before relocating to the south, I had worked from 2008 - 2012 for The Breastfeeding Center for Greater Washington in Washington, D.C., a private practice owned by Pat Shelly. Attendance at her prenatal breastfeeding classes have always been excellent, and other classes are offered there as well.

To ensure good attendance this time around, you might ask the OBs, family practice physicians, and CNMs if you can provide them with flyers about your class. The flyer can be inserted into their new patient packet.

Mother's Day isn't far off, and you might be able to do something special near that holiday re: door prize.
