Oh, you are not reading into it. It's pretty negative. I'd so rather see 
"how to make it work" rather than devaluing breastfeeding and human milk 
because our culture is unsupportive.

And there's nothing about using a modified nursing supplementer at 
breast, which is another way to nourish a cleft affected baby. Sigh.
