Dear Kathleen

I agree.

I am sorry if my response seemed flippant. I do understand why practioners
and people on Lactnet are discussing this because we are constantly
confronted with others telling moms to drink.

My question was meant for the medical community in general. If we have
research form this far back and we have this research replicated, then why do
people continue to give out erroneous information?

In lactation, the medical community just can't move away from "what we have
always done, no matter old or outdated or non evidence based that
information might be.

Regards

Carole

Hi there Carole. It's that we keep talking about things that other people
sometimes don't believe, and therefore don't make it into daily practice?
I don't really know. Just a guess.
