I am a LLL Leader, and one of our longtime Group moms has this and has
talked/blogged about it. She has two daughters, one is still nursing at
four, the other weaned around 6-7 I think. The daughters both had TTs (as
did her husband) but she does not, these were not diagnosed until the
youngest was 3 and the mom became more aware of the condition. She has
given me permission to share her blog posts with anyone in the lactation
community who might be interested (indeed, she promotes her blog on FB as
well and I think would welcome inquiries). She writes about a variety of
health and wellness concerns and I have not examined all her sources for
credibility (I don't think I as a layperson would do a good job of that
anyway) --take from it what you will. Here is her post on MTHFR:
