Working with a mother using the Newman-Goldfarb protocol for inducing lactation. She read in the protocol that when she stops the OCP she should have a "honeymoon" and pump every 2 hrs, the idea being to mimic the frequent nursing of a newborn during the time that her body experiences a drop in progestin. She is concerned that she won't be able to do that logistically. (Needs to start the pumping while still working.)
Have others found this step to be important?

Also, I am wondering about fenugreek and domperidone together. My reading seems to suggest that fenugreek and domp both work primarily by stimulating release of prolactin, so are these redundant?
