I would think the best argument revolves around "Just One Bottle" rather
than a magical property of breastmilk to clear the jaundice. If this is a
doc who doesn't care about breastfeeding, this won't matter either.

However - a physiologically jaundiced baby is usually a crappy breastfeeder
(medical terminology here!) and good breastfeeding help (and a pump
oftentimes) can really help turn around the breastfeeding and encourage the
mom-baby relationship. But it's a challenge!
