I'd like to also give Mr. Stanley Barringer an earful about how patronizing it is to treat women as if they were just too lazy, self-indulgent, or fragile to breastfeed.  The problem is not with women, it is the misleading information that we have been fed and the huge impediments that have been put in our way.  Guilt is just deflected anger gone awry in a system that makes women blame themselves.  It is with a system that has SUBSIDIZED promotional samples of formula with MY TAX DOLLARS.  Being part of the 99% and self-employed my husband and I don't have ways of hiding our income or receiving money from the government to subsidize our small businesses.  I have a workshop to run and after that I'm going straight down to Occupy Wall Street with my own sign about no more freebies for the big guys.
