Hi, Lactnetters, I'm going to be teaching a summer course on pediatric
dysphagia to grad students in a speech-language pathology program. I'm
trying to decide how much breastfeeding information to include and what to
emphasize. I will have a total of 18 hours with the students, and I also
have to cover assessment/treatment of bottle-fed infants as well as
difficulties with older children. Those of you who work with SLPs, or work
with mothers who are also receiving SLP services -- what do you wish they
knew about breastfeeding?
