Dear Colleagues,

About a year ago the hospital where we work began offering evening and night
Lactation Consultant coverage, usually with one LC available between the
hours of 7 p.m. and 7 a.m. We are interested to know if any other
facilities, in the U.S. or internationally, offer nighttime LC services. We
would like to connect with other evening/night shift LCs to share lessons
learned, specific night time breastfeeding challenges, and discuss effects
on in-hospital breastfeeding rates/supplementation. Please contact us (at
[log in to unmask]) if any of the following apply:

- You work for or know of any hospitals that currently offer night LC
services (defined as any time between 7 pm and 7 am)
- You work for or know of any facilities that have offered night LC services
in the past
- You work for or know of any facilities that have considered implementing
night LC services, or begun the process of putting it in place

Best,

Rebecca Costello, MPH, IBCLC, CD and Jamila Squires, MPH, IBCLC
