Reminds of what Dr. James Murphy said at a talk on tongue tie when he was challenged by someone in the audience about the possibility of cutting the arteries (to paraphrase from memory) ‘if you don’t know where the arteries are you have no business in someone’s mouth’

Someone who knows what they are doing won’t cut them since they are no where near where they ARE cutting.
