Can baby drink a little from a cup? Will he take breastmilk in a cup?
If it is a taste thing, perhaps there was some taste from the surgery meds
-- this is a long shot -- but does baby remember his own surgery and made
the association????
Will baby take formula at breast with the sns if mother pumps her breast
before so that it is as empty as possible? Then possibly adding in bits of
ebm until he becomes accustomed to it again.
Could also be a nursing strike type of thing, and could be treated as such.
Perhaps this little one is very very sensitive to such things and is sort of
a strong-willed type. Good luck.
