Permission to share: I spoke today to a women who nursed two previous children without problems.  Now is 37 weeks pregnant with her 3rd child, and states her breasts 'went soft' about a week ago. Before that they had been growing and enlarging as with her other pregnancies. She still has a little colostrum, like before they became softer. 
She has a call into her doctor. I don't remember reading anything about this issue. She has had no signs of preterm labor.
