That detention center and the "major media" need to be made aware that this incident, however rude, does not put the detention officer at risk of anythng. We know this because of the CDC statement that gloving and gowning are not required by hospital workers when they handle human milk; just common sense soap and water washing. There has never been a documented case of infection in a nurse or other HCP in a hospital from an occasional spill of milk on their skin. And you know how many of them have issues with broken skin because of all the hand washing they must do. The exception being milk bank workers - to protect the milk from contamination by the worker.

I even checked out <www.snopes.com> to see if this might be an Urban Legend. It's there under Strange News Reports.

This is a new one!! Found this on Drudge - I imagine the stand up comedians
will have a field day with this incident. However, as any PR agent will
tell you, there's no such thing as bad publicity, and even felony charges
involving breastfeeding are important!

(Though I'm genuinely concerned that a nursing mother was this drunk, and
what that means for the children under her care.)
