I am a little behind in reading my digests, but I wanted to add that our LLL group moms are VERY careful about sharing symptoms so we still have active playgroups and full series meetings. I try so hard not to be bossy (hard for a first-born air force brat) but I do tell everyone not to intentionally wean during flu season, no matter how old the baby is. I also encourage moms to offer sick siblings mommie milk in a cup if they want. I work at WIC, so I have had to learn to come to peace with the formula issue. Still, most moms are trying their best, and they appreciate hearing that they can affect their babies' health with their milk. Just my 2 cents.
