Tardive Dyskinesia can definitely be a side effect from metoclopramide, 
which is the #1 reason why the medication makes me nervous. I agree that 
the risk is greater if used longer term, but it is a devastating side 
effect to have. I also worry about depression, which is a much more 
common side effect of metoclopramide. Domperidone is much safer.
