I think it would be important to note the "wash of the breast", but not to assume to wash the "nipple" as well.  I would think a nice healthy dose of colostrum rubbed into the nipple before and after a feed should provide some protection against virus, and aid the Montgomery Glands in doing their natural work to protect and defend.

What do others think?
