There is a report in the Australian media today about concerns about a soy
drink product, Bonsoy soy "milk", for having unacceptably high levels of
iodine in it. The report stated that it contained seaweed. One of the
people affected was described as a "newborn" - which sadly confirms that
people are still feeding adult products to babies. The public was warned to
stop using the product, and told that their iodine levels would then return
to normal.
