Here's a link to a fantastic website that gives a protocol for getting rid of lice. It also gives a thorough explanation (with photos) describing the lice lifecycle, which reduced my panic by about 100%. I've used the technique on my kids twice in the past three years with great results....lice gone without using nasty chemicals or spending hours combing. Most importantly, mom and kids not traumatized by the process. I've passed this website along to probably 8-10 other families and they've had great success with it too.
