Wow, all of you must be as excited as I am with the email responses I
received! You are all beautiful to take the time to respond! Many
suggestions have been primarily to refer to the LLL article... this is
what we have. I have to give all of the credit to the mom and the
Cardio Thoracic Surgical team's interest led by one of the Nurse
Practioners. So, the guidelines are already there, it has already been
started. The CRNP has facilitated insurance coverage for the
centrifuge. It should be delivered today. What I need to do at this
point is get a hospital policy together. I was not able to attend the
ILCA conference. Is Ellen Lechtenberg out there or does anyone know how
to reach her? This situation came up suddenly. I had presented the LLL
article a couple of years back but no interest. A motivated mom and now
breastfeeding CRNP has been the perfect combination. Thank you all for
your support! angie kirkwood BSN IBCLC RLC
