I vote against adding oil. It would be very bad for the baby to aspirate oil. Have they tried to discern what causes the reflux? Anatomical problem? Food intolerance? Is the baby taking meds? Is mom giving small feeds often? Is the baby held or propped upright and watched after feeds? Could they 1/2 the Simply Thick? What about pouring off some of the lower fat pumped milk and adding the Simply Thick to the "lactoengineered" milk? Paced bottle feeding? Nursing at the pumped breast for comfort (in an upright position)? This sounds so miserable! Rowena
