Thanks Ann,
I'm behind on my emails and just catching up.
This is a very good perspective. I wholeheartedly agree with the last point
made: "one of the most powerful ways to create behavior change is to give
people their own tools to activate their communities."
That is my goal as a mother, dietitian and breastfeeding supporter.
Sadly, the person who commented about the breastfeeding ads missed the
point. Even if those ads went on air as initially planned, it wouldn't
provide the opportunities these mothers need to breastfeed and it would
alienate them too. No, don't water down the message, but find ways to
support that message for all.
