Hello All,

The mother of a 30 week preterm baby born 8 days ago called me today
stating that every time she pumps she becomes dizzy and lightheaded.
Yesterday she also experienced a headache while pumping. She only feels this
way during and shortly after pumping and it is getting worse to the point that
she has stopped pumping. I have searched the archives unsucessfully but I
know that I have read something, somewhere about these symptoms, perhaps
while breastfeeding not necessarily pumping. Has anyone come across this?
Does anyone have a suggestion of where I can perhaps read about such a
phenomenon? My guess is that it is hormonal, but until I can do more than
guess I'm hesistant to make any suggestions.

All words of wisdom are greatly appreciated.
