Take a look in the archives, there was a huge discussion about a year ago. Check out what Jack Newman has to say about Depo!

Does any one know if there is any real research or evidence substantiating the
link betweed Depo-provera and low milk supply? I ran into a resident doctor
who stated there is no evidence that supports this notion. Also, in Thomas
Hale's (Medications in Mothers Milk 2006), it also stated there was not any

real evidence ( I did not have the 2008 version on hand to look at). I would
like to supply him with some evidenced based research if there is any.
Thank you.
