Angela,

     You are right about the AR formula thickening in the babies tummy when
mixing with the stomach acids.  I went and read it on the can after you said
that.  But then I started thinking something was askew, as I was just sure
that the milk I had mixed for someone looked like a milkshake, rather than
just the normal liquid consistancy.  The baby could not suck it out with the
normal NB nipple.    So, I gave the ol' formula company a call and asked
them.  She said that it is thicker than regular formula, but should flow
thru a regular bottle nipple.  Then it thickens even more once in the tummy.

     Very enlightening.  Also, glad to hear I wasnt just imagining things.
