I've seen several frenotomies (types III and IV) done by Dr Coryllos and  
assisted by swaddling baby first then one person holds the baby's head stable  
while another (often mom or dad) holds the body while baby is supine on exam  
table.  The entire procedure is over in a little over 2 minutes which  includes 
2 minutes of pressure with sterile gauze to stem bleeding.   Her skill is 
amazing and we need to get docs to observe and learn from  her.
