Another point re: WIC formula, as baby grows and needs more it isn't enough, 
so parents have to <gasp> buy the balance each mo.  Moms tell me they have 
no $ to buy more formula and ask for samples.  Who knows what else they do 
to make it last :-(  No one seems to explain this early on when 
breastfeeding is possible.  They find out about it later :-(  Of course 
another pet peeve is moms who do both.  I see so many OBESE babies.  If the 
formula wasn't free, then maybe moms would just nurse!  ack.  Pat in SNJ
