Royce and all,

I also had a pt. last week who broke out in a rash, presumably from
taking domperidone. Interestingly, she had gotten some domperidone from a
local pharmacy and had been taking it for a couple weeks, but because it is
so expensive here in the states, she had sent off for some from the
globaldrub website. Her rash started when she switched over to the non-US
domperidone. She states her rash was on her arms and chest. She continued
taking the domperidone for a few days, thinking it might be from something
else. Finally she stopped the non-US domperidone, and the rash went away.
She started back on the US made domperidone and has experienced no rash.
I suggested she contact the non-US source and inform them. She will
let me know what results. I have never heard this before. I hope some of
you who don't live in the US and use domperidone often will pipe in and let
me know if this is a fairly common concern or just a seemingly bad batch!
