Is there any other "anything" aside from thrush which could cause a white
nipple? Could it be thrush, with a white nipple and no other symptoms?

Mother (permission granted) has injury to L nipple. Is no longer b/f on that
side, only pumping q3hours. Baby has no thrush sx, mother has no other sx,
other than white across the face of the nipple. She is applying nothing to
her nipples anymore. She was using lansinoh for 1 week, and she decided to
stop that and see if there was a change. The white has decreased, but it
still quite thick in the cracks of the injured nipple.

Decided today to treat as if it were thrush, use home remedies over the
weekend to see if there is a change, and contact the doc on Monday if
needed.

Any reason to not suspect thrush?

Best wishes,
Sam Doak
