On Saturday I went to get my car inspected at a local gas station.
The young
man that waited on me mentioned that he liked my Tshirt. I was
wearing the
LLL Tshirt with "Breastfeeding" written in many languages. It's one
of my favorite
Tshirts and they ALL come out for WBW :-D. Anyway he asked me if I
knew what
the Arabic said. I said I thought it said "breastfeeding", but he
explained to me it really
said "Breastfeeding is the best" or something like that I really
can't remember
because the conversation that followed is what I found most
interesting. He was
a young man probably about 23-25 yo. He said there was a saying in
his country
that his father would say when he or one of his siblings did
something wrong. It went something
like "Someone who had his mother's milk will come along and teach you
a lesson".
He said it implied that those that got their mothers milk were
healthy and strong!
He said he told his girlfriend when they have children she must
breastfeed them. :-D
I just thought it was a really fun conversation to be having in a gas
station with a 24 yo
male. Good times!
