This seems to me to be an extraordinary reaction to a baby whose only
'sin' is to weigh a bit less than it is thought she 'should'
do....I've just checked these weights on the charts we use in the UK,
and all appears normal. The baby has remained precisely on the 10th
centile. I am assuming there is no other health issue.

I do know things are done differently in the US, but if there is
concern about this baby's growth, then what would be wrong with
feeding the baby more often? This baby has what seems like a range on
invasive tests, and a hospital stay - what a distressing experience.

But normally, babies who are well do not lose 1 lb in a week - and
this baby has been seen by the doctor and declared well. So given the
baby is well, my guess is the weights have been recorded incorrectly.
