Dear ILCA members:

A link to a ballot with proposed changes to the ILCA ballot just arrived in my emailbox. I hope ALL members will take the time to carefully read the proposed changes and how the bylaws would read if these changes pass. Consider the implications of the organization's operations/function as is and then with changes.  Bylaws are important to the function of any organization. The ILCA bylaws provide the membership with a mechanism for a voice -- in this case our professional organization. 

Often such elections are ignored -- members give up their voice. There is also an expectation that no matter what is proposed re: bylaws, it will pass. Please read the proposed changes carefully. And please exercise your right to vote.
