Shooting deep pain isn't always associated with yeast infection.  Sometimes
it can be caused by nipple compression, other times due  to referred pain
(mimicking Raynaud's) from nipple trauma, which wouldn't be surprising
considering the tight frenulum reported.  The diflucan (a vasoconstrictor)
can itself lead to vasospasm.

As for getting baby back to breast I couldn't comment.  It depends on many
factors.
