(Hi Nikki)! Thanks for the link, I found the article very informative and 
thought-provoking. Interesting too,  to think about the fact that if 
babies are breastfed they get fewer infections and thereby are less likely 
to be prescribed antibiotics. Also,in addition to babies who are born via 
c-section, are those born vaginally who are whisked away for procedures or 
bathing and given to Dad or someone else to hold before they are skin-to-
skin with mom at increased risk? Is it logical to think that a baby who is 
bathed prior to the first breastfeeding would not latch on to mom with the 
same bacteria as an unbathed one? Is the unbathed baby's condition 
necessary to expose mom to bacteria also, completing the cycle of 
producing immunity in the breastmilk? Have I overthought this? I find the 
idea fascinating and like to think that the baby has a purpose for the mom 
too, not just the other way around. Sorry everybody if I strayed too far 
off topic today.
