Just step away from those mothers who drive you crazy. You can't help 
everyone and you are not going to change those women who obviously aren't 
really interested. Just tell yourself that any amount of breastmilk is 
better than none at all and turn your attention to those who really want 
the help. Someone like the mother you describe doesn't sound committed at 
all and she is probably looking for a reason to say "it didn't work." 
Maybe she is being pressured by family members.

Put your efforts into educating doctors and other health care 
professionals (as well as mothers, of course).  Usually, those who are 
committed will do well regardless.
