I just read the whole thing. Its not a study, just a review article about
mechanisms of satiety, hunger, how lab animals can be conditioned to work
for foods high in fat and sucrose, etc. No data to substantiate that
hypothesis at all. Also no mention is made of the dozens of
non-white-European cultures that include on-demand nursing for several
years, yet have no problems with obesity. (I realize one could argue about
caloric availability and actual physical work done by those cultures, but
still.) If on demand breastfeeding were the cause of obesity, why aren't all
the Baby Boomers (schedule fed evaporated milk and corn syrup) skinny as all
get out?
