Hello!
Does anyone have recommendations for chronic yeast (7 weeks now)? Patient
has been taking fluconazole 100mg daily for 6 weeks- after initial 400mg
dose. Baby also taking fluconazole past 2 weeks. Also using nystatin on
breasts and baby's mouth x 6 weeks. Used Gentian Violet last three days on
breast and in baby's mouth. Taking garlic. Taking acidophilus.
Things to try: grapefruit seed extract and All Purpose Nipple Ointment;
acidophilus in baby's mouth.
Any suggestions? Any lab tests that might help?
Your suggestions are appreciated.
Thank you.
