hi,
i am helping a mom who has a 10 day old who is currently not receiving enough milk from the
breast.
she has a damaged pituitary and is on ddavp.
her prolactlin level at the end of pregnancy was tested and considered normal by her endo (do not
know specific number).
the baby's weight began at 8lb 5oz, dropped to 7lb 14oz and 2 days after dropped to 7lb 11oz.
his latch went from great to worse, which we are working on.
does anyone know of a mom with a damaged pituitary being able to fully breast feed baby?
any help greatly appreciated,
