Thanks to EVERYONE who has responded with great ideas!  I guess i wasn't 
clear that this mom did eliminate all sources of bovine protein, including 
beef, gelatin, etc. etc. not  just dairy.  I have some very good ideas to 
proceed with and I thank you!  Keep them coming!
