But I believe that mothers will not let this wonderful practice slip
away....because there will always be mothers who see through these things
and see the truth about how wonderful breastfeeding is in terms of
parenting, health, and connection.>>

I wish I could believe this, Kathleen -- but I see what happened to "natural
childbirth" -- despite all of us that thought that it was the most wonderful
practice....and those of us that saw the truth about how wonderful natural
childbirth was in terms of parenting, health, and connection....

But try and convince a woman of natural childbirth today, and they look at
you as though you have lost your mind. Pain??? Whatever is the point of
experiencing any pain/feeling whatsoever? God invented epidurals for such a time
as this. And in my cynical mind, I think women are thinking that God
invented formula (with DHA & ARA) for such a time as this as well -- such an
inconvenience to breastfeed -- to experience the Pain of Sore Nipples or Engorged
breasts -- or the Most Incredible Inconvenience of a Baby that Wakes up at
Night....

Sigh.
